Executive Planning Committee for charity/fundraiser event coming up in April.

We are expecting about 1,500 people from the city to attend this event. We will have the local media, entertainment (live bands, games, etc.), food & beverage, and other elements involved. This is where YOU come in. I need about 4 members that want to put this on their resume or their Marketing Portfolio. However, be aware that this means there is A LOT of work involved. You will be appointed tasks such as:

• Contacting the news stations and radio stations for media coverage
• Contacting bands and DJ's to provide entertainment
• Contact the proper outlets at UNLV to provide sound equipment, etc.
• Contacting local businesses to request sponsorships
• Contacting the local high schools, middle schools, local business, and retailers to promote the event.

Be prepared to complete these tasks from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for you to start creating your contacts or networks for the future!
